Automatic Point Scaling which means your rules no longer have to be "black and white". Each rule may have as many "shades of gray" as the number of Points you set. This is a MAJOR advantage over every other music scheduling system on the market.

Here's how to find the Powergold 2000 equivalent of the DOS Main Menu and second level menu items

Music Library menu:

Scan & Advanced Reports - When you click the Music Library on the Main Tool bar you are automatically in the equivalent of Scan mode. Advanced Print Reports may be generated by clicking the Reports button or choose View | Reports

Scan | Custom - In the new Music Library, click on Custom Song Filter at the top of the category tree

Add - In the new Music Library, right click and choose New Song to add a song, or click the Add button.

Print Basic Reports - Basic print reports are generated by arranging the songs you want in the order you want in the Music Library. Then click the Reports button and choose Quick Report For Current Screen. This gives you an instant WYSIWYG report (What You See Is What You Get)

Execute Future Moves - Future Moves are available on the Song Information screen, Future Moves tab.

Mass Changer - In the new Music Library, multi-select the songs you want to change. Then right click and choose the appropriate mass changer from the menu.

Optimize Categories - The optimization features are now built in to the Music Library. Click on any Folder, then right click and choose Flip, Shuffle or Spread.

Block Cycler - Removed

Test Files | Database Rebuild - Choose File | Database | Repair

Test Files | Remove History - Choose File | Database | Empty | Song History

Data Transfer - Use the Text Import Wizard to import from just about any text file. Go to File | Database | Import | From a Text File.

Backups - Click the Backups button on the main tool bar.

Format Development menu:

Clocks - Click the Clock Editor button on the main tool bar or choose View | Clocks

Fallback Categories - Dropped

Categories - Click the Category Editor button or choose View | Categories

Format Settings are called Policies - View | Policies

Tempo, Texture and Type are Property Groups that may be found by clicking on the Property Editor button or choose View | Properties.

No Repeat - Choose View | No Repeat Grid

Mood - Click the Category Editor button or choose View | Categories

Gender and Sound Codes are Property Groups that may be found by clicking on the Property Editor button or choose View | Properties.

Artist Groups have been dropped since any song may be separated from any number of artists.

Turnover Analysis - Click the Analysis button on the main tool bar, and click on the Turnover Times tab

Coding Analysis -Click the Analysis button on the main tool bar, and click on the Coding tab.

Clock Analysis - Click the Analysis button on the main tool bar, and click on the Clocks tab.

Song Avails - Click the Analysis button on the main tool bar, and click on the Song Avails tab.

Design Playlist - Click the Reports button on the main tool bar, then click the Music button, the Notes button, or the Commands button, to setup each type of design element.

Playlist Generator:

The Playlist Generator is now called the Schedule Editor. Click the Schedule Editor button on the main tool bar.

Schedule Next Playlist - From the Schedule Editor, click Create a Schedule.

Edit Existing Playlist - From the Schedule Editor, click Edit a Schedule.

Finish Partial Playlist - From the Schedule Editor, right click and choose Finish Partial Schedule.

Change Playlist Date - The dates are always selectable from Create, Edit, Finish, and Unschedule.

Unscheduler - From the Schedule Editor, click Unschedule a Day.

Gold Recycler Setup - From the Schedule Editor, right click and choose Hour Copier.

Auto Editor Setup - From the Schedule Editor, right click and choose Auto Editor Setup.

Schedule Multiple Days - From the Schedule Editor, click Create a Schedule, then check the Enable Multiple Day Scheduling check box.

Select Hours To Schedule - From the Schedule Editor, click Create a Schedule, then click on the Criteria tab to choose the hours.

Select Categories To Schedule - From the Schedule Editor, click Create a Schedule, then click on the Criteria tab to choose only certain categories.

History:

Airplay History - This is available in several places. From the main menu, choose View | Song Information. Then click on the History tab. You also have a graphical history window that can be continuously visible in the Schedule Editor. From the Schedule Editor, right click and choose History. You can see the history of each song and artist as you scroll through the log.

Title Rankings - Click View | Chart Manager.

Artist Rankings - TBA - Click the Reports button, then click on the System Reports tab, then click on Artist Rankings.

Frequency Graphs - TBA

Browse A Playlist - Click the Schedule Editor button, then choose Edit a Schedule.

International Reports - Click the Reports button, then click the International Reports tab.

Number Of Days To Store - From the main menu choose View | Settings | Scheduling.
