Exercise 25 Study the following application package and role play the interview between the management of a British company and the applicant for the position of a book-keeper/secretary. The job will be challenging and rewarding. You may invent any information you wish. You could ask about foreign languages, education, good/bad qualities, skills, opinions about working overtime, or any ‘killer questions’.

Book-keeper A well-established British company requires a book-keeper/secretary, preferably with previous experience, for their new office in Kiev. The book-keeper/secretary must be bilingual in Ukrainian and English and experienced in computer science. Competitive salary with a challenge to grow.
