Before cranking the engine, ground all spark plug

RECOMMENDED ENGINE OIL

Refer to the chart for selection of the oils suited to the atmospheric temperature.

API STANDAR

Service API Type “SE”, or higher grade

CAUTION:

• Do not put in any chemical additives or use oils with a grade of CD or higher

• Ensure no foreign material enters the crankcase

5. Start the engine and let it warm up for a few minu- tes

6. Turn off the engine

Measurement procedure:

Crank the engine with the throttle wide open until the reading on the compression gauge stabilises.

	Compression Standard
11:1 kPa (kg/cm2, bar)

NOTE:

Wait a few minutes until the oil settles before inspec- ting the oil level

8. Install

1. Start the engine and let it warm up for a few minu- tes

2. Turn off the engine and place an oil pan under the engine

• Spark plug

9. Install

12,5 Nm (1,25 m•kg)

3. Remove:

• Oil filter plug Ø

• Seat and compartment
