Do not turn the camshaft during installation. Damage or improper valve timing will result

• While holding the camshaft, temporarily tighten the bolts

• Remove the safety wire from the timing chain

4. Install:

• Timing chain tension

************************************************************ Installation procedure:

• Remove the tension cap bolt Ø and springs Ø

• Release the timing chain tension one-way cam Ø

and push the tension rod all the way in

• Install the tension with a new gasket Ø onto the cylinder

• Install the springs Ø and cap bolt Ø

• Tighten the bolt (with gasket) to the specified torque Bolt (chain tension)

6,5 Nm (0,65 m•kg)

Cap bolt (timing chain tension)

8 Nm (0,8 m•kg)

5. Tighten

• Screw (Cam sprocket)

3 Nm (0,3 m•kg)

6. Check:

• Valve alignment

Refer to steps 3-4 above

7. Check:

• Valve clearance

If not as specified, adjust it
