Task 2. Translate the following sentences into English/ Ukrainian (when translating into English use subjective with the present/past participle constructions or modal verbs):

1. He was heard talking about his work experience in business development projects, negotiation and contracting.

2. Actions are being taken for the present financial situation in the country to improve and prevent its worsening and affecting further investments from the West.

Task 3. Translate into Ukrainian paying attention to the translation of modal verbs and possible transformations:

During the 10 years it took him to clear Tutankhamun’s tomb, archaeologist Howard Carter discovered great quantities of textile and clothes. These must have been carefully folded and stored, but were now stuffed randomly into storage chests, suggesting that thieves must have struck not long after the burial and pulled many of the garments out in their search for gold. The officials sent in to restore the tomb would have found something resembling a closing-down sale, and in their attempt to tidy up quickly, stuffed the clothes back into the nearest box. A find of this fragile nature should have been preserved carefully, yet the young king wardrobe lay neglected for a full 70 years before a team of textile historians began to study it. By then the original garments had deteriorated so much they decided to save them from further damage by making exact copies. As the recreated garments had to be made of gossamer-like linen finer than any modern machinery was able to produce, specialists in ancient methods of textile production were called in.
