3. Clean:
• Crankcase filter elementØ
Blow out the dust in the element from the inner surface using compressed air.
4. Install:
• Crankcase filter element
• Crankcase filter cover
7 Nm (0,7 m•kg)

Remove:
• Bottom left side cover
2. Remove:
• Expansion tank connecting tube
3.
Remove:
• Cylinder drainage screw Ø
CHECKING THE COOLANT LEVEL
NOTE:
1Make sure that the scooter is upright when checking the coolant level.

1. Stand the scooter on a level surface 1
2. Stand the scooter on its centrestand
3. Inspect:
• Coolant level
Coolant level should be between the maximum Ø
and the minimum Ø marks.
If the level is below the lower level line, add coo- lant to bring it up to the proper level
CAUTION:

4. Start the engine and let it warm up for several minutes
5. Turn off the engine and check the coolant level again.
4. Remove:
• Upper front panel
• Front bodycowling
• Radiator cap Ø
s WARNING:
Do not remove the radiator cap when the engine and radiator are hot. Scalding hot fluid and steam may be blown out under pressure, and could cause serious injury. When the engine has coo- led, open the radiator cap as follows:
