· In most novels characters change as the result of

what happens to them in the story.

· Has the protagonist/main character changed in any way since the beginning of the novel?

· What is he like at the beginning of the story? At the end

of the story?

· Have the characters in the section you’ve read developed

in any way? How? Give evidence.

· What evidence do you find in these chapters that N has

changed in any way since the beginning of the story?
