T: Good afternoon, I’m glad to see you. How are you today?

T: During the previous classes we have studied some texts about different families. Today we are going to continue speaking about it.

T: Now, look at the blackboard, please. Today I prepared for you a traditional English poem which is devoted to the family. Before reading it, let’s do some phonetic warming ex-s. Sit still. Breath in. Breath out.

 

This is the Father, kind and true.

This is the mother who loves you.

This is the brother so big and tall.

And this is the sister who plays with her ball.

T: Well done.

T: As usual, I prepared for you a situation, according which you are going to make a dg. (приложение 1) But, before doing this, open your books at p.115. Let’s read drills 11 and 12.

T: Now, you know some information about famous American families. But you don’t know some facts about mine. That is why I’m going to tell you something about my family. (приложение 3) Before listening to my story, look at the blackboard. Here are some unknown words for you.

T: Now, you’re going to listen to me again. Listen to me very attentively and fill the table (приложение 4) – установка на 2- ое прослушивание + новая КЗ

T: Let’s see how well you managed to fill the table – проверка понимания общего содержания

T: Well done. I also can see in your eyes how much you want to tell us some information about your own families. For this, we’re going to organize the so called ‘merry-go-round’ game. Let’s make a circle. 3 of you will stand in the middle of the circle. 3 of you will tell the stories about your own families to these 3 people, then, you’re going to change your places. Tell your group mates some information about your own family. Use pictures and all your acting abilities! While listening to the stories, fill the tables that I gave you. (приложение 5,8)

 

T: You’ve listened to your group mates stories about their families. What do you think of the families of your group mates? What story did you like most of all?

T: Thank you. Now, let’s play a little quiz. While listening to your group mates, you were supposed to fill the tables about their families that I gave you. Let’s check who the most attentive person is. This person will get a medal as the best listener of gr.02132.
