Grammar: Two-part phrasal verbs.

Двокомпонентні фразові дієслова можуть бути неперехідними (intransitive), тобто після них не вживається прямий додаток, та перехідними (transitive), тобто після них вживається додаток.

Якщо додаток виражений особовим займенником me, him, her, it, us, you, them, він завжди стоїть перед прислівником.

Наприклад:
