The Oryol Branch of the Russian Academy of State Service was formed on the 24 of September, 1993 and on the 20 of June, 1996 it was reorganized into the Oryol Regional Academy of State Service by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation. Since then more than 4500 students got the diplomas. Now the Oryol Regional Academy of State Service is one of the leading educational institutions which trains and retrains the state and municipal employees. It has three faculties: «State and Municipal Administration», «Economy and Management», «Jurisprudence». The Academy provides a post-graduate course. In the Academy there are 7 branches in Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Lipetsk, Smolensk, Tambov and Tula.

The Bryansk Branch of the Oryol Regional Academy of State Service was organized in 1998. It was headed by the candidate of political science Tatiana Sergeevna Bolhovitina. Tatiana Sergeevna has managed to create one of the most popular educational institutions of the Bryansk region. People can get here the following specialties: «State and Municipal Administration»; «Organizational Management»; «Jurisprudence»; «Finance and Credit».

The Bryansk Branch of the Oryol Regional Academy of State Service offers two forms of study: full-time and part-time. Full-time students should have secondary vocational education; part-time students have secondary vocational or higher education. Besides, the Bryansk Branch of the Oryol Regional Academy of State Service carries out retraining state employees and upgrading of their professional skills.

The priority guideline of the Bryansk Branch of the Oryol Regional Academy of State Service is the high professional level of the teaching staff that successfully allows solving the problems of up-to-date education, to connect training with practice, and it is one of the distinctive features of the Academy. The director of this educational institution T.S.Bolhovitina has collected highly qualified teachers.
