Here are ten British proverbs or sayings. Match them to their interpretations (a-k). Find out Russian sayings with similar meaning.

Discuss the following questions in the group.

Ø Do you have any interesting festivals in your country? Give info about them.

Ø Make a calendar of events for your country then choose two or three events and describe them.
