1. Chemist’s has a hall for visitors, two departments for selling drugs, and working room.

2. At the prescription department one can have the medicine immediately, other drugs have to be ordered at the chemist’s department.

3. The working rooms of a chemist’s include for buying, selling and sterilization of glassware, an analytical laboratory, a room for storing medicines, a room for dispensing them and some others.

4. White labels indicate drugs for internal use, yellow ones indicate drugs for external use and blue ones indicate drugs injections.

5..Poisonous drugs are kept in the drug cabinet with the letter B.

6. Disinfectants, drugs for cough, cardiac medicines, herbs and things for medical care such as hot-water bottles, medicine droppers, cups, thermometers are kept separately.

 

 

Active ingredients. Phenol and Sodium Phenolate.

Inactive ingredients. Color, corn syrup, flavor, water.

Indications. Chloraseptic provides temporary relief of discomfort due to minor sore throat and mouth and gum irritations. They also may be used for topical anesthesia as an adjunct to systemic antibacterial therapy. For prompt temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with the following conditions: medical – oropharyngitis and throat infections; acute tonsillitis, and posttonsilectomy soreness; dental – minor irritation or injury of soft tissue of the mouth; minor oral surgery.

Administration and Usage. Adults and children over 3 years of age: dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth every 2 hours. Children under 12 years of age: do not exceed 8 lozenges per day.

Warning. Consult physicians if sore throat is severe or lasts more that 2 days or is accompanied by high fever, headache, nauseas or vomiting. Not for children under 3 unless directed by physician or dentist. In case of accidental overdosage, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control centre immediately.
