If you are coming to Russia for tourism or business purposes for a short or medium period of time you should think about renting apartment instead of staying in hotels. Such apartments are usually situated in the center of the city.

Among the main advantages of renting apartment in Russia is getting more privacy and more comfort comparing to the hotels of the same price.

Such services as satellite TV, free Internet and international phone calls are common. The majority of Moscow and Saint Petersburg apartments are located in modern buildings with security services.

Today, the main difficulty of renting an apartment in Russia is to sort out in a sea of different proposals to choose the best combination of price, location, condition and flat area.

In addition, the term of renting is of great significance. There is a separate sector of the “summer rental” when the hosts during few summer months leave the house and rent it to the guests. The building is panel or brick, the ceilings are 2,4-2,65 m, combined bathroom, kitchen 6 sq.m. If you are lucky there is also a little balcony.

The yards of these houses are always shared with all the people living there, with most of the area given over to the playground, so the car will have to be put along the sidewalk under the window. There are no garbage disposal systems and elevators in five-story buildings.
