Alpini Inernational (Parent company/Holding)

Look at the diagram showing the structure of Alpini International. Read and translate the text.

Alpini International is a multinational. It operates in several different countries: France, Germany, Japan. The headquarters of the holding is in Rome. It is the parent company of Alpini France, Alpini Germany, Alpini Japan. They are subsidiaries or daughter companies of Alpini International (more than 50% owned by the parent).

Read and translate the text.

ICL is a subsidiary of Fujitsu, which is an 82% shareholder in the company. The company employs a total of 24,000 people. The group consists of 29 autonomous companies. Each company has its own Managing Director. The group is divided into three divisions. The first is Industry Systems. This division produces business solutions (software) for ICL’s customers. The second is Technology, which manufactures computers and components. The third division is Services, which sells computer services, like maintenance and training. ICL operates in six different target markets retail; financial services, local and central government; healthcare, manufacturing; and travel and transport.
