Participating in the arts at the lessons can enrich pupils' lives and give them a more well-rounded education. Theater in the classroom offers children an opportunity to learn about storytelling, express creativity and demonstrate innovative ideas. The personalities pile up their emotional, intellectual, moral experience and it emancipates the child.

Role playing can help pupils improve their public speaking skills. Students' listening skills may also improve as they need to pay attention to their turn to speak.

Creativity develops fantasy, imagination, memory, attention, and other qualities. Lessons with drama teach the pupils to communicate with each other, share their thoughts, knowledge, skills. Methods, forms and the contents of theatric exercises develop psychological structures (attention, thinking, will, and memory). Pupils work at their parts, word, their pronunciation and sounding, clear intonation, mimics, accurateness.

Role play causes development and activates individuality, originality, independence of each child. It develops children’s self-esteem, self-confidence, decision making skills.

The role of theater in a classroom may also help students develop an appreciation for the arts as they grow up and pursue other educational and career focuses. Even just a basic understanding of dramatic history can help students become aware of theater's place in society and the need to support the arts. It develops their aesthetic taste as well.

Art is a reflection of society, and incorporating theater into the classroom develops social skills and can teach pupils about different eras and cultures.
