Write project papers considering:

· the long term demand issues in transport to determine whether it is possible to reduce transport growth without negatively affecting the economy;

· descriptive and quantitative analyses of the passenger sector;

· short distance travel and the links between city structure, agglomeration and travel, examining particular issues relating to the needs of the young and the elderly.

2. Visions of the Role of Walking and Cycling in 2030.

This research seeks to examine ways in which more people might be encouraged to walk and cycle in the future. Write project papers considering:

· what steps are needed to support this potential increase in walking and cycling and how to improve the experience for those who already use these modes;

· visioning and backcasting techniques to explore alternative futures for walking and cycling to 2030.

3. Recent Trends in Transportation Projects: the Need for Economically Viable and Eco-Friendly Road Construction.

Write project papers considering:

· the significance and scope of green technology with references to road construction;

· the viability of using fly ash, waste plastic, marble waste, building wastes and et al.;

· environmental protection and cost effectiveness in road construction projects;

· constructing green highway for economic, social and environmental reasons and for effectiveness in infrastructure building for rapid economic growth and development of a nation using recent advancements in the field of road construction technology.
