MR PRESTON: Oh yes. I know them. Well, we’re looking for someone with

ambition and initiative. Someone who’s good at dealing with

people and able to make new contacts.

RICHARD: Yes, I realise that.

MR PRESTON: So really, though the hours can be fairly flexible, you have to be

prepared to work hard at this job. Perhaps harder than you

imagine.

RICHARD: Yes. I’m well prepared to do that.

MR PRESTON: Oh… just a routine question. You can drive, can’t you, and you

have a current driving licence?

RICHARD: Oh yes.
