Here is some advice for someone who is unemployed and looking for work. Decide whether you think each point is good or bad advice.

 

1. Take a holiday before you start looking for a new job.

2. Looking for a job is the same as doing a job – you need to work fulltime on it.

3. Give yourself a little free time every week to relax.

4. Exchange information and ideas with other unemployed people.

5. Apply for as many jobs as possible – even jobs you don’t really want.

6. Talk to friends and other business cotacts regularly – they are often the first to hear about a new job offer.
