If a fire was discovered on aircraft senior flight attendant, the responsibilities of the first flight attendant (fireman), according to the instructions, he passes to another flight attendant. Senior flight attendant informs the other flight attendants and the captain about the incident.

FIRE EXTINGUISHING INSTRUCTION

WARNING! In case of fire in confined compartments (spaces) DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR of compartment as long as not all will be prepared all extinguishing agents, and wearing protective breath equipment!
The nearest oxygen bottles	Remove	The third flight attendant – «fireman assistant» (or other flight attendants)
Electrical switches/fuses in the fire zone	Switch off	The third flight attendant – «fireman assistant» (or other flight attendants)
Passengers	Replace from the fire zone	The third flight attendant – «fireman assistant» (or other flight attendants)
Hand luggage	Remove from the fire zone	The third flight attendant – «fireman assistant» (or other flight attendants)
Smoke hoods	Prepare one more	The third flight attendant – «fireman assistant» (or other flight attendants)
Air vent in the fire zone	Close	The third flight attendant – «assistant fireman» (or other flight attendants)
Wet rugs, the quenching liquid (in case of non-electrical fire)	Have ready to hand	The third flight attendant – «fireman assistant» (or other flight attendants)
Information in the presence of smoke in the passengers cabin	Breath throw the wet cloth	Senior flight attendant
Panic	Suppress	All flight attendants
Fire is extinguished	Control the fire zone	Assigned attendant

Командиру корабля должна сообщаться только точная информация. Если виден дым, необходимо сообщить его запах, цвет и густоту. Не называйте возникшую проблему пожаром, если пламя отсутствует или его не видно. БП должны серьёзно воспринимать все сообщения о задымлении. Они должны немедленно распознать источник дыма и принять меры по снижению риска возникновения пожара на борту ВС. Наличие дыма может физически повлиять на пассажиров и БП, если не начать действовать быстро и эффективно.
