I. Изменение местоимений(по смыслу)

IV. Правило согласования времен не действует
|
а) когда в предложении выражается общеизвестный факт, истина:

He said, “The Earth revolves around the Sun”.

б) когда указывается точная дата или время совершения действия:
|
He said, “Carl Linnaeus was born in 1707”.
| He said that Carl Linnaeus was born in 1707.
|
V. Различные типы предложений в косвенной речи
|
V (A). Повествовательное предложение вводится союзом that (что), который может опускаться.
|
He said, “I watered roses yesterday.”
| He said that he had watered roses the day before.
|
V (B). Приказзаменяется на:частица to + инфинитив. Запретзаменяется на:not + to + инфинитив
|
She said to him, “ (Don’t) Water roses!”
| She told him (not)to water roses.
|
V (C). Общий вопросвводится союзами if / whether + прямой порядок слов
|
She asked him, “ Didyouwater roses?”
| She asked him if / whetherhe had watered roses.
|
V (D). Специальный вопросвводится вопросительным словом + прямой порядок слов
|
I asked him, “ What are you watering now?”
I asked him, “ When must you water roses?”
| I asked him what he was watering then.
I asked him when he must water roses.
