2. Battery

• Check the battery

Refer to “BATTERY INSPECTION” section in CHAPTER 3.

CORRECT

3. Main switch

Refer to “CHECKING SWITCHES”

section.

NO CONTINUITY

Replace the fuse

INCORRECT

• Clean battery terminals

• Recharge or replace battery

NO CONTINUITY

Replace the main switch

CORRECT

4. Thermo switch
• Disconnect the thermo switch • Connect the pocket tester (Ω x 1) to the thermo switch Ø. • Immerse the thermo switch in water Ø • Check the thermo switch for continuity   NOTE: Note the temperatures while heating the water with the temperature gauge Ø.
s WARNING
• Handle the thermo switch with special care. Never subject it to strong shocks or allow it to be dropped. Should it be dropped, it must be replaced. • Do not allow the thermo switch to touch the bottom of the heated vessel.
#A. Thermo switch “ON” 82ºC #B. Thermo switch “OFF” 68ºC

MEETS SPECIFICATION

Replace the thermo switch.
