You met your friend yesterday, you hadn’t seen him for a long time. He told you some things about him. Later that day you told another friend about him. For example: 1. I am living in Almaty.He said that he was living in Almaty.

2. I am studying on the second course of residency. My specialty is traumatology.

3. My father isn’t very well. He had a stroke. 4. My sister is getting married next week. 5. I saw Anara at a party and she seemed very happy.6. I haven’t seen Baurzhan for a long time. I’ve heard he has graduated from PhD course. 7. Unfortunately my car was stolen a month ago. Now I use a bus. 8. In future I am planning to continue my professional development in Israel. 9. I’ll tell my parents I saw you.10. How long have you been living in Astana?Where do you practise?What are plans for future?11. Do you live with your parents or alone?12. 5. Imagine that you came to the UK to have a hospital attachment and you were asked questions about your country, medical healthcare and education. Report these questions to your friend later.

A consultant usually presents the details of a patient's case to colleagues at a clinical meeting in a hospital. Below you can see a typical case presentation example divided into the following sections:

Age and occupation of a patient	a 44-year-old manager,
Symptom(s) and duration	He had a one-month history of breathlessness.
Acompanied symptoms	He also complained of ankle swelling which he'd had for two weeks.
Past medical history	There was no relevant past history.
Social history	He was married and had one daughter. He smoked 25 cigarettes a day and drank about 40 units of alcohol per week.
Family history	His father died of myocardial infarction at the age of 42. His mother was alive and well.
