IGNITION CIRCUIT CUT-OUT SYSTEM

The stand circuit has been connected to the starting circuit. The connection regulates the workings of the starting-motor and the ignition system.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

BEFORE REMOVING PARTS

1. Before removing parts or stripping down, clean away all dirt, mud, dust and foreign material

2. Use the correct tools and cleaning equipment

3. Consult the section on DEDICATED TOOLS

4. When stripping down the machine, always keep mated parts together. Mated parts include gears, pistons, cylinders and other parts ‘mated’ through wear. Mated parts must be reused or replaced together.

5. When stripping down the scooter, clean all the parts and arrange them in trays in the order in which you remove them. Ordered removal will mean fast re-assembly and correct re-installation of parts.

6. Keep all parts away from heat

REPLACEMENT PARTS

1. Use only genuine Yamaha/MBK replacement parts. For lubrication work, use only the oil and grease recommended by Yamaha/MBK. Other brands, while they may look and behave much the same, are nonetheless of inferior quality.
