14. Translate the following sentences paying attention to the words in bold type:

18. Find the sentences to which the verbs ‘ to have ’ and ’ to be ’ are translated “ должен

20. State the functions of the Gerund. Translate the sentences:

1. Logical operations consist of comparing, selecting, storing, matching, and determining. 2. The way of solving this problem is very difficult. 3. After performing calculations a computer displays a result. 4. Differentiating and integrating are algebraic operations. 5. Registers are used for storing information. 6. 21. Translate the following sentences paying attention to the Infinitive:

22. State the function of the Infinitive and translate the sentences:

25. Translate the following sentences paying attention to the words in bold type:

Discussing the advantages of the new memory unit the professor gave the students all the necessary explanations. 4. 27. Read and translate the following sentences paying attention to the objective infinitive constructions and for phrases with the infinitive:

30. Translate the following sentences paying attention to the – ing forms:

1. According to the principles of their work computers are divided into three parts: analog, digital, and hybrid. 2. When applying mathematical methods to the solving technical problems engineers are most often interested in obtaining finite numerical results. 3. Proper relation between theory and practice must be observed in training your specialists. 4. The students get the practical training when they are working at various plants. 5. When performing the problem in mathematical practice, the students use calculator. 6. In modern computers RAM/ROM memories are used for executing sophisticated operations. 7. A memory is used for storing information. 8. Electronics being used not only in industry but in many other fields of human, activity as well, one should have an idea of what it is. 9.
